Rita Anne Payleitner

Rita lives in St. Charles with her husband (STC high school sweetheart) Jay. They have five children: Alec (wife Lindsay), Randall (wife Rachel and sons Judah and Gideon), Max (wife Megan and children Jackson, Reese, and Finn), Isaac (wife Kaitlin and children Emerson, Nolan, and Nixon), and Rae Anne. Over the years the Payleitners have also shared their hearts and home with 10 foster babies.

Rita has served as Chair of the Government Services Committee and the Planning and Development Committee. She also served 10 years as Council liaison on the St. Charles Housing Commission, was Council liaison to the St. Charles History Museum, served 4 years on the Liquor Control Commission, and assisted City staff, tri-city leaders, Kane County, and CMAP on developing the community study "Homes for a Changing Region".

Rita faithfully attends the monthly St. Charles Intergovernmental meetings. She avails herself to regular meetings with developers and citizens’ groups and consistently attends Chamber and Business Alliance events to keep her in the loop with local businesses.

Outside of her City duties, Rita is part of the d303 Citizen Advisory Committee, belongs to Noon Kiwanis, and is, along with her family, an active member of Christ Community Church.
