 Child Restraint Seat ChecksThe St. Charles Police Department will conduct a check to verify that a child restraint seat used by a citizen is installed correctly and used safely. Our child restraint seat technicians will also teach the vehicle/seat owners the proper installation and use of the car seat. Effective May 1, 2008 the St. Charles Police Department will be conducting car seat checks by appointment in the garage area on the north side of the Police facility every Thursday of each month beginning at 1 p.m. Appointments are scheduled in 45-minute increments with the last appointment at 4 p.m. Appointments may be made by calling Senior Administrative Assistant Lorna Marquis at (630) 443-3777 on week days between 7:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. or via email at lmarquis@stcharlesil.gov.
