Records The Police Records Section is part of the Administrative Services Section of the Police Department and provides support service to the Department, the community, and other agencies 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Often times, it is the first point of contact between citizens and the Police Department. The Section is responsible for the processing, distribution, and retention of all police documents, including offense/incident reports, traffic citations, warrants, and crash reports. Tens of thousands of records are processed through the Records Section each year for data entry.
