Access during construction:
Access to private driveways will be maintained throughout utility repairs. The only interruption to access will be if curbs/driveway aprons are being replaced. Access will be provided to private drives at the end of each working day during street reconstruction.
Curb replacement:
To insure proper drainage, some curbs have been marked for replacement. You will be notified by hand delivered notice IF the curb across your drive is being replaced. If your vehicle is displaced by
curb replacement, you can park on nearby side street overnight. The St.
Charles Police can be notified (630 377-4435) of your situation.
Refuse and brush collection:
Refuse and brush collection will continue as
usual; the refuse and brush haulers will be notified of this planned work and will pick-up as scheduled.
Special notes:
Unmarked private sprinkler systems and electronic dog fences located within the public right-of-way will not be repaired by the City or its contractor if disturbed by this work.
