Project Update November 14, 2011

Once the chlorination lab results are acceptable and the Illinois Environmental Protection Agency approves them, the new mains will be connected to the existing water mains and any fire suppression and domestic water services will be connected. The remainder of the disturbed pavement will be patched, various curb and gutter and sidewalks will be replaced and restoration of all grassy areas will begin as well.  While driving through the project limits, please use caution and be alert for turning vehicles and construction equipment and workers entering and leaving the designated construction areas.
