The St. Charles Police Department would like to remind the community that concerned residents can report any suspicious activity within the city in two ways.
The first can be done by calling in a tip to the Drug & Crime Tip line at 866-DRUG-COP (1-866-378-4267). The tip line rings directly into a voice mailbox where callers can leave a message. In order to ensure the usefulness of the tip, as much information as possible should be given. The information is then reviewed by investigators and shared with the appropriate agency. Information concerning criminal activity is handled by the St. Charles Police Department or the appropriate agency where the crime occurred.
The second option is by completing an online submission form that can be used to submit drug, crime information, or evidence of suspicious behavior. Citizens using the online form are encouraged to give as much information as possible. All information will be kept strictly confidential. If a photograph of the illegal activity was taken, the images can be uploaded online at the same time. Any resident who would like to use the online submission can easily do so by clicking on the "Report a Drug/Crime Tip" under the "See Also" section at the top, right hand side of this page. The online tip line is voluntary and anonymous. You do not have to provide your name if you choose to submit the form anonymously.
Anyone wishing to speak directly with a St. Charles police officer can call 630-377-4435. Callers should still dial “9-1-1” to report any and all emergencies.
