The work completed for the week ending August 1, 2015 included starting on the Marion Avenue connection as well as the fire hydrant installation at this location. Flushing and pressure testing of the new watermain has begun. The contractor has begun restoration of curb and gutter.
The scheduled work for the week ending August 8, 2015 will include completing the connection at Marion Avenue, two hydrants and the connection between Iroquois Avenue and North Avenue. The contractor will continue with concrete work on driveway aprons and pavement patching. The contractor will provide notifications to those residents affected by construction who may have restricted access to their driveways during this work 48 hours in advance.
All work schedules are weather dependent. Daily lane closures should be expected on IL Route 25 for the above work this week.
