Get in the Game—Read! is the theme for this summer’s book clubs, programs, and special events for children, young adults, and adults with St. Charles Public Library cards. The Friends of the Library and local businesses provide incentives for the Book Clubs.
Youth Services Book Clubs are designed for listeners and readers according to individual ability. The goal is to reinforce, sustain, and extend enjoyable reading experiences beyond the books at home. The Read-With-Me option is designed for parent-child interaction, including infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and children not yet reading independently. Book Club I is for independent readers, while Book Clubs II and III are for intermediate readers and GTGR (Got to Go Read) is for middle and high school students. Register now for the Book Clubs and programs.
The Youth Services staff is available to discuss all the Book Club options.
