NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING BEFORE THE ST. CHARLES PLAN COMMISSION (Title 17 Section 17.26.080)

Notice is hereby given that a public hearing will be held by the Plan Commission of the City of St. Charles, Illinois on Tuesday, July 8, 2008 at 7:00 P.M. in the City Council Chambers of the Municipal Building at 2 East Main Street, St. Charles, Illinois. The purpose of this public hearing is to hear testimony and make a recommendation to the City Council concerning a proposed amendment to Title 17 entitled "Zoning" of the St. Charles Municipal Code (the Zoning Ordinance), described as follows:

• A petition filed by Triad Construction Services, Inc., requesting an amendment to Section 17.26.080 Building Foundation Landscaping, pertaining to buildings in the M-1 and M-2 Zoning Districts. The draft amendment proposes a partial reduction or relocation of required building foundation landscaping area along building walls facing rear yard or interior side yard lot lines that abut an M-1 or M-2 zoning district.

All persons who want to attend the public hearing to observe, ask questions, or offer testimony are welcome to do so.   Anyone wishing to be heard for or against the proposed amendments may submit statements orally or in writing or both. A copy of the petition requesting said amendments is on file and is available for inspection during normal business hours at the St. Charles Planning Office, Two East Main Street, St. Charles, Illinois and at the St. Charles Public Library, Adult Reference Desk, One South Sixth Avenue, St. Charles, Illinois.

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING BEFORE THE ST. CHARLES PLAN COMMISSION (Title 17 Chapters 17.02, 17.04, Appendices A and B)

Notice is hereby given that a public hearing will be held by the Plan Commission of the City of St. Charles, Illinois on Tuesday, July 8, 2008 at 7:00 P.M. in the Council Chambers of the Municipal Building at 2 East Main Street, St. Charles, Illinois, at which time and place the Plan Commission will consider, for the purpose of making a recommendation to the City Council, proposed amendments to Title 17 of the St. Charles Municipal Code (the Zoning Ordinance), filed by Russell Colby, City of St. Charles, St. Charles, Illinois as follows:

• To amend Title 17, "Zoning", Chapter 17.02 Title, Purpose and Interpretation; Chapter 17.04 Administration; and Appendices “A” and “B”, all pertaining to administrative procedures and applications.

All persons who want to attend the public hearing are welcome to do so.  Anyone wishing to be heard for or against the proposed amendment may submit statements orally or in writing or both.  A copy of the petition requesting said amendment is on file and is available for inspection during normal business hours at the St. Charles Planning Office, 2 E.
