It Can Wait Day of Action Fri. Sept. 19

The St. Charles Police Department would like to remind the community that Friday, September 19, 2014 St. Charles East High School will be having their yearly homecoming parade.  This year the parade has been moved back to Main Street (Route 64) so please use alternate routes, and more importantly we would like to share the slogan, "It Can Wait."

2014 Fox Valley Marathon is Sunday, Sept. 21

Lanes will be Closed Along the Route

The 5th annual Fox Valley Marathon will be held Sunday, September 21, 2014 from 7:00 a.m until approximately 2:00 p.m. The marathon will begin in St. Charles on 1st Street near Illinois Street. The run continues south to Aurora before returning back to the finish line n St. Charles on the Illinois Street bridge.

History Comes Alive at the Camp Kane Rededication

Saturday, Sept. 20, from Noon to 3 p.m. at Langum Park Along Rt. 25

Everyone is invited to a special ceremony celebrating the move of the historic Jones Law Office and rededication of its new site, the lower portion of Langum Park along Rt. 25, as “Camp Kane.”

While reviewing police reports, some identity theft reports were noted and it seemed like a good time to send out information on how to not become a victim.

Jones Law Office Building Moved to Langum Park Site

On Aug. 27, the City of St. Charles moved the historic Jones Law Office building from its current location at 304 Cedar Avenue to its new location in Langum Park along Rt. 25 near Devereaux Way.
