New Lawn Permits
New lawns require special care until they are established. It’s important for homeowners to apply for a Sod Laying and Seeded Lawn Installation Permit to allow extra watering for lawns with new seed or sod. The permit allows watering for 10 consecutive days, between 5 a.m. and 9 a.m., and from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. This permit must be displayed on a front window. Residents can obtain a permit for $10 from the Utility Billing Office in City Hall, 630-377-4426 or Public Works facility 630-377-4405.
