Ed Bessner

Elected Since 2007

Ed moved to St Charles in 2002. He was elected to the Board of Directors of his subdivision HOA as Treasurer in 2003.  He was then elected President of this board in 2004.  Ed used that experience and interaction with the City when he was appointed to the St Charles Plan Commission in 2004.  He was then elected Vice Chairman of this commission in 2005.  He served on the Plan Commission for 3 years.

Ed attended Northeastern Illinois University and received a Bachelor’s Degree in Management. His professional background includes 17 years of sales and management experience in the wine and spirits industry.  He is currently a Key Account Manager for Southern Wine and Spirits of Illinois. Ed and his wife Sue have three children.
