William Turner came to St. Charles in 1982 from Wisconsin. He married his wife, Elizabeth in 1990, and moved to Batavia. He and Elizabeth returned to St. Charles in 2002. William is retired from Johnson Controls Automotive Systems Group. He worked in Quality Assurance at the Geneva, Ill., battery plant for 23 years. His wife is an educator of 32 years. She retired in 2004 from Wredling Middle School in St. Charles where she taught Language Arts and Reading. His stepson Ian and daughter-in-law Marija are realtors in Highland Park. William has been president of two homeowners associations, including Renaux Manor in St. Charles.
William has a B.S. in Public Administration from the University of Arizona, and a Masters from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. He is a member of the American Society for Quality, and is a Certified Quality Auditor.
