Last week underground utility construction reached substantial completion. Testing of those utilities will commence early this week with expected completion mid-week.
This week, Electric conduit work is anticipated to commence mid-week for lighting along the riverwalk and future plaza. This work will continue into the following week. Some excavation may begin at the end of the week pending electric conduit progress.
The following week ALamp anticipates starting foundations for monument relocations and additional grading. We appreciate the patience of City staff and the public as ALamp has completed a majority of underground improvements. Most “surprises” are discovered during this phase, and our project was no exception. The good news is that moving forward, service interruptions and surprises should be limited.
