Week of August 18, 2014

Pavement grinding work performed by Geneva Construction crews has commenced as of August 14, 2014 and is expected to continue through the end of the week.

Geneva Construction is scheduled to place a leveling binder course of hot-mix asphalt on Tyler Road and repair driveway aprons prior to the first day of school, August 20, 2014.

During the week of August 18th through 22nd, Geneva Construction will also be working on manhole adjustments within the pavement area and restoration of landscaping along the sidewalks and back of the curb where new work has been done. We anticipate some overnight lane closures during the time of manhole adjustments.

During the week of August 25th through 29th we anticipate the final lift of hot mix asphalt pavement surface to be done with final lane striping to be done the following week. Due to the scope, complexity and nature of this project, as well as the unpredictability of weather, some delays and disruptions may occur.

At least one lane of traffic in each direction will be open to traffic during the paving, manhole adjustment and the landscape restoration process. Vehicles may encounter only slight temporary traffic delays of 1 to 2 minutes each.
