The work completed for the week ending August 22, 2015 included the connection between North and Iroquois Avenues. The contractor has cleaned and televised the watermain for investigation of debris and is in the process of making necessary repairs. Cleanup efforts on the project site continue.
The scheduled work for the week ending August 29, 2015 will include beginning the flushing and pressure testing of the watermain. Drilling for the connection of the watermain to the maintenance shed at the St. Charles Country Club will also occur. The contractor will provide notifications to those residents affected by construction who may have restricted access to their driveways during this work 48 hours in advance.
All work schedules are weather dependent. Daily lane closures should be expected on IL Route 25 for the above work this week.
