The City is preparing to repaint the Campton Hills water tower at Campton Hills Road & Main Street this summer. Other than minor touchups back in 2011, the tower bears the original coat of paint that was applied during its construction in 1985.
Repainting is important to protect the steel from rust and extend the life of the tower structure. (It also keeps it looking better.)
During the repainting, you will notice a tent-like cover around the tower to protect the surrounding area as sanding and painting is completed.
