Business Cited for Selling Tobacco to a Minor

Mayor Raymond Rogina, acting as Liquor Control Commissioner, enforced local tobacco ordinances for one local business at the May 21, 2018, meeting of the St. Charles Liquor Control Commission, which considers alcohol, tobacco and massage license issues.

Tobacco and Gifts, Inc., at 1556 E. Main Street was cited for selling tobacco to a minor. The license holder is required to pay a $250.00 fine and $500.00 in administrative fees.

“We want to be guardians in demanding the enforcement of current state and local law,” said Mayor Raymond Rogina.
