City representatives routinely interact with our legislators to be sure St. Charles’ interests are well represented at both the federal and state levels. On Feb. 22, 2019, city officials attended a panel of state legislators who addressed issues that will confront Illinois local governments in 2019.
State Senator Don DeWitte, State Representative Dan Ugaste, Ward 2 Alderman Rita Payleitner, Fire Chief Joseph Schelstreet, State Senator Jim Oberweis, and Human Resources Director Jenn McMahon.
The panel was part of the Metro West Council of Government Legislative Breakfast.
