Cumberland Green Dr. for the report of a domestic battery in progress.  Upon police arrival the offender had fled the scene.  The offender was identified to police as, Aric J. Bandur (38 yoa).  Bandur allegedly confronted the victim in her car as she arrived home at her residence.  Bandur is alleged to have punched the victim in the face, pulled her from her vehicle, and began to attempt to force her in to her residence.  The victim was able to separate herself from Bandur and get to a neighbor’s residence.  Bandur allegedly fled the scene.  Police worked with the Kane County State’s Attorney’s Office to obtain an arrest warrant for Bandur.  The warrant was for:

On Thursday 06/20/19 at 4:04 PM officers were dispatched to the same residence for the report of a possible home invasion.  The victim reported that Bandur was now breaking in to her home.  Upon arrival, officers encountered Bandur walking away from the residence.  Officers knew Bandur to be wanted on the arrest warrant and immediately took him in to custody.  The caller and occupants of the home were not injured.  A neighbor who heard the victim screaming for help entered the residence and tried to intervene.  Bandur allegedly pushed the neighbor and told him to leave.  The Kane County State’s Attorney’s Office approved the following charges against Bandur in relation to Thursday’s incident:
