The St. Charles Police School Resource Officers interact with students in many ways. They make sure the schools are safe learning environments and also serve as a resource for classroom instruction in:

- Safety programs
- Drug prevention
- Crime prevention
In addition, they help students foster positive relationships with law enforcement.
