Lottery for Simultaneous Filing

Candidates Eligible to Participate in Lottery for Simultaneous Petition Filing:

Notice is hereby given that on Wednesday, December 23, 2020, at 10:00 a.m. the City Clerk for the City of St. Charles will conduct a lottery to determine ballot placement for the Consolidated Election to be held April 6, 2021. The Lottery will be held virtually, in accordance with the Executive Orders of the Governor of the State of Illinois, the Illinois Department of Public Health Regulations, and the Center for Disease Control Guidelines. 

The Lottery will be held for offices and candidates who simultaneously file their nominating papers at 8:00 a.m. on December 14, 2020, the first day for filing, and on December 21, 2020, during the last hour of filing.  Candidates or their representatives are welcome to participate virtually in the Lottery.

The Lottery will be conducted by the City Clerk and the Deputy City Clerk.  Members of the public are welcome to attend virtually.
