*** UPDATE MISSING PERSON HAS BEEN FOUND ***
Beginning with the initial 911 call this morning at 9:33 a.m. The St. Charles Police Department began a coordinated effort with multiple agencies to try and locate Mr. Muenster. The effort included assistance from the following agencies:
St. Charles Fire Department, St. Charles Emergency Management Agency, Kane County OEM, Kane County Sheriff’s Office, DuPage County Sheriff’s Office, Mc Henry County Sheriff’s Office, Geneva Police Department, Batavia Police Department, Department of Homeland Security, St. Charles Park District, and The Illinois Search and Rescue Council.
Efforts to locate Mr. Muenster continued throughout the day until he was eventually located by members of the Illinois Search and Rescue Council at approximately 7:30 p.m. in a wooded area southwest of W. Main Street (IL. Rt 64) and Oak Street. Muenster was then treated on scene by the St. Charles Fire Department and transported to Northwestern Medical Delnor Community Hospital for evaluation.

He was last seen leaving the Autumn Leaves Memory Care Center located at 10 N. Peck Road in St. Charles, IL on foot late Monday evening at approximately 8:40 pm. He was later seen walking eastbound on Illinois Route 64 near Barbara Ann Drive at approximately 9:00 pm. Bob suffers from memory-loss and was last seen wearing a green and black colored long-sleeved shirt, blue jeans, and dark shoes. He is originally from Geneva, Ill.
