The Library is Open!

The St. Charles Library unveiled its newly renovated and expanded space at a special Grand Re-Opening Celebration July 17. The 100-year-old library was redesigned for the 21st century, while taking special care to incorporate the original Carnegie Library space. The new library is 65,000 sq. ft. and contains more than 300,000 items for patrons, with updated features and modern technologies, including a new drive-up window, teen space, makers space, sound room, 3-D printer, and laser engraver. See what’s new and open the door to a new adventure at the St. Charles Public Library. Learn more at
