Update - 8/31/17
Anticipated work for the week of September 1-8: The Contractor will be installing steel piles and constructing the new concrete retaining wall. Please continue to be alert for lane closures and flaggers!

Utility Pole testing is 95% complete and expected to be 100% complete within two weeks.

Solar installation mostly completed. Substation civil work 90% completed. Substation transformer on order, delivery due in November 2017. Other major substation equipment on order or in the specification/bidding process. Substation still planned to go into service prior to summer of 2018.

The IL Route 31 Sidewalk and Culvert Improvements project is scheduled to begin Monday, August 28th . Be alert for daily lane closures along IL 31.

Paving of S. 14th Street, S. 13th Street and Fellows Street to be completed on Friday, August 25th. All residents can park in their driveways and will have access in and out tomorrow.

Road Closure Alert: 38th Avenue will be closed to traffic between Illinois Avenue and Ohio Avenue, beginning Thursday evening, August 17th through Sunday, August 20th, to allow for pavement removal, base reclamation and paving the asphalt binder and surface. The road will be open to traffic for business operations on Monday, August 21st.
