Pavement prime coat (Fresh Oil) being placed at sunrise on Saturday.
Concrete curb and sidewalk saw cutting, forming and pouring new concrete curb and sidewalks.
Utility structure adjustments.
Pavement grinding and pavement patching, mid-week through the end of the week.
The work completed for the week ending July 18, 2015 included fire hydrant installation at Allen Lane on 5th Avenue. Connections were also completed this week at connections at Delnor, private drive and Marion. Flushing and pressure testing of the new watermain has not yet been scheduled due to delivery of needed parts.

The work completed for the week ending July 11, 2015 included the continued installation of fire hydrants and valve vaults along 5th Avenue. The Stonehedge Road and North Avenue side street connections were also completed this week. Flushing and pressure testing of the new watermain has been postponed until correct parts are obtained.

The City of St. Charles was notified by the Illinois State Water Survey (ISWS) on behalf of the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) that they are hosting an Open House meeting to present the newly produced digital Flood Insurance Rate Map (FIRM) and Flood Insurance Study (FIS) for DuPage County, Illinois and Incorporated areas.
West Side Streets
Saw cutting started on west side streets the week of June 29. Storm sewer work started on Avalon Court the week of June 29 and has been completed. Additional saw cutting, curb, sidewalk and utility repairs are scheduled to take place on west side streets the week of July 6. The affected streets are Greenwood Lane, Oxmoor Court, Mockingbird Court, Crabapple Lane, Avalon Court, South 8th Street and 8th Court.
East Side Streets
Saw cutting may be taking place on some east side streets the week of July 6.
N. Tyler Road
No work.
