Heritage Square II - 405 Illinois Ave.

An Application for Special Use requesting to amend the Heritage Square II PUD Ordinance has been submitted by Bob Rassmussen, representing property owner Heritage Square LLC. The requested amendment is to increase the number of allowable residential dwelling units in the Heritage Square II PUD from 13 units to 21 units. Proposed is to convert the office building at 405 Illinois Ave. to eight (8) 1-bedroom apartment units. No changes to the exterior of the building or site are proposed.

Plan Commission held a public hearing on September 19, 2023 and recommended approval. The application will be considered by the Planning & Development Committee on October 9, 2023, followed by final action by the City Council.
