Water main construction on this project has been completed. Over the next two weeks site cleanup and restoration will be completed.

Martam Construction will continue to pre-dig and locate utilities along IL Rte. 31 and Roosevelt Street during the week of April 26th and May 3rd.
Tree removal and trimming will start the week of May 10 and will be conducted by Homer Tree Services. Maps of the tree trimming and removal can be found under project documents.
TUESDAY, APRIL 27
7th Avenue at South Ave. will be down to one lane with flaggers for the day.
Installation of box culvert sections on South Ave.
Horizontally drilled sewer pipe between Illinois and Indiana
Grading and stabilization of creek side slopes south of South Ave.

Water Main replacement on South Ave. – Impacted residents will receive notification in advance of any shutdowns.

Watermain installation crews have moved onto Production Drive, the water main installation will be proceeding west on Production Drive.
Additionally, drilling continues on Tyler Road under IL Rte. 64. There will be continued traffic control and lane closures in this area.
City Crews will be installing additional valves to support the contractors work next week. There is one water shutdown that is scheduled for 3/29/21.
