Public Meeting
Thank you to everyone who was able to come out to the public meeting! Your input is greatly appreciated and will help us as we determine the final direction for this project. If you were unable to attend, we would still love to hear what you have to say. About the Project
The Riverside corridor serves as a key destination within the community, supporting local businesses, restaurants, and cultural attractions, while also functioning as an important connection for people walking, biking, and driving.
The project will explore opportunities to create a more walkable and pedestrian-oriented environment, while maintaining access for vehicles and preserving existing parking supply. Improvements will consider flexible street design elements to support community events, as well as nature-based solutions such as permeable pavements, bioswales, and expanded green infrastructure.
Final recommendations will be developed in close collaboration with the community and will reflect local priorities, balancing economic vitality, accessibility, and placemaking.

Project Timeline
May - June 2026: Review Existing Conditions
July - September 2026: Develop and Analyze Corridor Design Concepts
October - December 2026: Determine and Refine Preferred Concept
