City of St. Charles 2026 Street Rehabilitation Project Gets Underway

 The City of St. Charles 2026 Street Rehabilitation Project is now underway with utility structure point repair & replacement work in various locations around town. Concrete replacements and road work are expected to begin towards the middle of June. More than 9.6 miles of roadway throughout the City will be improved. Construction is divided into three phases:

 

• Phase I: Utility, sidewalk, curb, and driveway repairs

• Phase II: Street rehabilitation work, including pavement grinding, patching, fresh oil, and new asphalt pavement

• Phase III: Parkway restoration and permanent pavement marking installation

Residents on streets to be impacted by the work should receive a letter in the mail from the Public Works Department with additional information regarding project specifics. The entire project is expected to be completed by late November 2026.
