Creating an inclusive community where all feel welcome is one of the Guiding Principles in the City of St. Charles Strategic Plan. The rainbow flag is widely recognized as a symbol of pride, inclusion, and support for the LGBTQ+ community. To help promote acceptance and support for the LGBTQ+ Community in St. Charles, the Pride flag is raised in front of the Municipal Building.
