St. Charles Police Investigating Body of Adult Male Found in Fox River

  On April 29, 2026, at approximately 0910 am, the St. Charles Police and Fire Departments responded to the west side of the Fox River, in the 200 block of North 2nd Street, for a report of an unresponsive male adult who had been located floating in the river.

 

After an initial investigation by the police, the Kane County Coroner's Office was notified, and they ultimately transported the individual to the Coroner's Office for further investigation and identification.
