Temporary Parking Restrictions
To accommodate increased traffic and pedestrian activity, additional parking restrictions will be posted and enforced on the following streets. Motorists are encouraged to carefully observe all posted signage before parking.
For safety reasons, fireworks viewing will not be permitted on the fifth level of the west-side parking deck. Additionally, the area of Langum Park immediately adjacent to Riverside Avenue is not a designated viewing area.
The Indiana Street pedestrian bridge will also be closed beginning July 3.
Motorists should anticipate heavy traffic before and after the fireworks display. Delays are expected, and alternate routes of travel are strongly encouraged.
Bicycle Safety Reminder
Bicycle riding is prohibited on sidewalks within the downtown, including the 1st Street Plaza area. This applies to both traditional and motorized bicycles (e-bikes) and scooters. Cyclists must dismount and walk their bicycles where "Dismount" signs are posted or where sidewalk riding is prohibited.
