The United States Army Corp of Engineers released a draft report recommending removal of nine dams along the Fox River, including the St. Charles dam. For more information, visit the Fox River Dam website.
The Army Corps of Engineers had notified the City that more information was needed and that the Corps would be conducting additional research for a broader review of dam removal impacts. We are still waiting to be notified of further developments or to be given an updated timeline from the Army Corps of Engineers. So there has been no additional activity from the Task Force.
