An application for Special Use has been submitted to the City by Wilby Properties, LLC for the 1.25-acre vacant property addressed as 5N024 Rt 31. Requested is approval of a Special Use for Group Home, Large.
The applicant is proposing to develop the property with a 11,500 sf home to be utilized as an assisted living home for seniors.

The St. Charles Plan Commission will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, April 21, 2026 at 7:00pm. After closing of the public hearing, the Plan Commission's recommendation will be considered by the City Council Committee of the Whole at a subsequent meeting. Finally, City Council will vote on the application.
