Open Jobs

The Crossing Guard maintains control of children at crossing sites to ensure that children cross safely and at designated spots when school is in session.  Shifts are approximately 1 hour in the morning, and 1 hour in the afternoon.  The morning shift is generally from 8:00 – 8:45 a.m. and afternoon crossing are 3:00 – 3:45 p.m.
This position assists with the coordination and field supervision of workers for the court assigned community restitution program.  This involves planning and scheduling community service work for defendants as referred by the court, monitoring performance, and instructing them in the completion of assignments, mostly outdoors.  This position is responsible for completing detailed documentation of defendant attendance and service hours completed.  Supervision is regularly exercised over adult and juvenile community restitution service workers.  This position also coordinates the graffiti removal program with the Public Works department.   This position will fill in for the Community Restitution Coordinator in their absence.

The this position will work approximately 15 hours per week.  The exact hours are somewhat flexible and could be 5 hours on a weeknight, 5 hours on Saturday, and 5 hours on Sunday or 8 hours on Saturday and 8 hours on Sunday.
