The Charlestowne Mall is planned to be relaunched as "The Quad St. Charles" in fall 2015. The developer/property manager is The Krausz Companies, Inc., representing new property owners SC Main 3800, LLC.
The conceptual plans for The Quad St. Charles include removing the vacant former Sears anchor store, downsizing and relocating the food court, and reconfiguring the front entrances to the mall and movie theater with new retail and dining spaces to create a new "front" to the mall building.
The Lexington Club Project is a residential redevelopment of the former Applied Composites Company industrial site located northwest of Downtown St. Charles. The property is generally bounded by Dean Street and Street Street on the south, 5th Street on the east, railroad tracks on the north, and 12th Street on the west. The overall site area is approximately 28 acres.
