The Foxwood Square development is comprised of the City block bound by S. 5th, S. 6th, Indiana and Ohio Avenues. The site is the location of the Raymond Judd House, 309 S. 6th Ave., a City designated Historic Landmark. The Foxwood Square project approved in 2007 included renovating the Judd House to two residential units and constructing 10 townhomes around the house.
Lexington Homes, the developer of the project, has submitted a formal request to revise the development plan for the project to include only single-family detached houses (107 units). The change to the development plan requires rezoning all of the property for single family use, amending the 2013 planned unit development (PUD) ordinance to reflect the change in land use, and approval of a new PUD Preliminary Plan (including site, engineering, landscape and architectural plans).
