St. Charles residents can put food scraps and other organic composting materials out at the curb along with regular yard waste for collection. Lakeshore Recycling Systems, the City of St. Charles refuse/recycling contractor, will pick up the compost material on regular collection days.
How the Program Works
The 10th Street Water Tower Painting Project is anticipated to be complete by the end of November 2019. More information will follow as the project nears completion.

Work on the Tenth Street Water Tower is scheduled to begin on Tuesday, September 10.
All Streets are receiving final landscaping and punchlist work.

General Clean up
This week the contractor will be pouring concrete curbs and sidewalks, paving the asphalt binder course and adjusting structures in the roadway. Next week the contractor will complete the asphalt surface course. Landscape restoration will be ongoing.
