The work completed for the week ending May 30, 2015 included installation of watermain pipe along the east side of 5th Ave from south of Union Cemetery to Marion Avenue. Installation of watermain valves north of the cemetery has been completed. The Iroquois Avenue connection and tie-in was completed as was the Delnor Avenue connection. Fire hydrant installation began this week.
The scheduled work for the week ending June 6, 2015 will include installation of watermain from Marion Avenue south along the east side of 5th Avenue. Fire hydrant and valve installation will continue. The contractor will provide notifications to those residents affected by construction who may have restricted access to their driveways during this work 48 hours in advance.
All work schedules are weather dependent. Daily lane closures should be expected on IL Route 25 for the above work this week.
