Tours, Music, Trivia and Museum Exhibit Highlight the St. Charles Municipal Building’s 75th Anniversary Celebration

Sept. 12, from 1-3 p.m.

The Municipal Building has been a hallmark of the St. Charles landscape since it opened Labor Day weekend in 1940. For 75 years it has majestically stood guard over our community from its perch on Fox.

School is back in session and kids are out at bus stops, buses are stopping on the roads, and parents are driving their children to and from school. So please proceed with extra caution around our schools and in our neighborhoods, especially during the morning rush hours.

St. Charles Deputy Police Chief Steve Huffman Retires

After serving in the department for nearly 22 years, Deputy Chief of Administration Steven Huffman has retired from the St. Charles Police Department. Huffman has accepted the position as Chief of Police for the Village of Antioch.
