City of St. Charles Receives Top Fire Protection Rating

Ranking could Mean Lower Fire Insurance Rates for St. Charles Residents and Businesses

The City of St. Charles has been awarded a Class 1 rating for Fire Protection from the Insurance Services Office (ISO), designating St. Charles  as one of only 99 cities out of 45,000 surveyed in the United States to earn the elite ISO Class 1 status. 

Multisport Madness Half Marathon and 10K

The Multisport Madness Half Marathon and 10K will be held Saturday, April 25th, from 7:00 a.m. until approximatly 10:30 a.m.

Bid Alderman Martin a Fond Farewell at the May 4 City Council Meeting

Newly Elected Alderman Steven Gaugel and Reelected Aldermen also will be Sworn in at the Meeting

Fourth Ward Alderman Jim Martin, who earlier this year announced he would not run for reelection, officially ends his term May 4. All are invited to wish him a fond farewell at the May 4 City Council Meeting, 7 pm, in Council Chambers.

North 5th Avenue (IL Route 25) Water Main Replacement Project Gets Underway April 27

Residents will be Notified in Advance of Any Service Interruptions Due to Construction

The City of St. Charles is launching a large-scale project to replace a water main on North 5th Ave, (IL Rt. 25). The project is scheduled to begin April 27 and is expected to be completed by September 2015.
