All responses to solicitations must be submitted electronically through DemandStar. Suppliers must be registered with DemandStar in order to access solicitation information and submit a bid response. The Prevailing Wage Act contains administrative and recordkeeping requirements that the City and its contractors are mandated to follow. The Prevailing Wage Act should be reviewed for the specific details pertaining to this requirement and for additional mandated requirements.

Vendor Information Reporting
In accordance with Public Act 102-0265, the City of St. Charles is mandated to make a good faith effort to collect and publish certain demographic information provided by vendors doing business with our community. The collected data identifies whether or not the vendor is a minority, women, or veteran-owned business or if they qualify as a small business under the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) standards.
