Economic Impact Analysis of the Fix River Corridor Master Plan RFQ Document

The City of St. Charles is seeking Request for Qualifications (RFQ) from consultants qualified in the economic development, economic impact analysis, and financial analysis specialties to work with the City to evaluate certain “attraction” projects proposed in downtown St. Charles, IL along the Fox River.

In 2015, the River Corridor Foundation, in partnership with the City of St. Charles and the St. Charles Park District, spearheaded an update to the Fox River Corridor Master Plan.  The plan update laid the conceptual framework for increased utilization of the Fox River through the creation of unique “attraction” projects.  This RFQ process will play an important role in defining which projects the City may examine in more detail to increase utilization, tourism, and potential redevelopment in and on the properties abutting the Fox River.

The consultant selected through this RFQ process will be capable of working with the City to create a refined scope of services based on the requirements of this RFQ.  We anticipate execution of a contract by mid July 2018.

Qualifications are due to the Community & Economic Development Office no later than 4:30 Central Time on June 18, 2018
