As a result of simultaneous candidate filings on Monday, December 12, 2022, a lottery was required to determine placement on the ballot for the Consolidated Election to be held on April 4, 2023.
A lottery to determine the candidate listed first and second on the ballot for the office of Ward 2 and Ward 4 Alderpersons was held on Tuesday, December 20, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. Deputy City Clerk Tracey Conti officiated, witnessed by Sharon Bringelson, Administrative Assistant. City Clerk Nancy Garrison drew Arthur J. Lemke to be listed first on the ballot for Ward 2 Alderperson, and Laurel Moad to be listed first on the ballot for Ward 4 Alderperson. The ballot order will be as follows:
