Right Southbound Lane of Kirk Road Closed for Road Repair

Work will Repair Settling Manhole Covers

The City of St. Charles Electric Utility has hired Archon Construction to repair settling manhole covers on Kirk Road. The work will require a continuous closing of the southbound outside lane of Kirk Road from Main Street south to Tyler Road, from July 18-31, 2018, weather permitting.

Work consists of breaking out the surrounding pavement and re-pouring concrete. The result will be a smoother ride for drivers, as well as safer snow plowing operations in the winter.
