J&B Builders have submitted applications for Special Use and PUD Preliminary Plan for a proposed mixed-use building at the northeast corner of S. 1st and Prairie St. The four-story building incorporates commercial space fronting S. 1st St. and parking on the first floor, with up to 20 residential condominium units on floors 2-4, and a partial 5th-floor penthouse. The proposed building is similar to a Concept Plan reviewed by the City in August 2022.
Plans are under staff review. Plan Commission will hold a public hearing at a future date, expected this summer.
