Requests must be submitted either by phone (630-377-4426) or in writing (send to City of St. Charles, 2 E. Main St., St. Charles, IL 60174) by January 30, for the previous year's Utility Bill history.
Most new electric service installed in the City is underground. Residential services generally originate from a pedestal, transformer or overhead/underground riser pole in the back or front yard.

As a courtesy to City of St. Charles residents, the St. Charles Police Department conducts car seat safety inspections to verify that child restraint seats are installed correctly and used safely.
