Lawn Maintenance

It's springtime and new buds and shoots will be sprouting up all over town. Please remember to keep your lawn and landscaping well groomed. According to ordinance (8.28.020), grass must be kept at a height of 8 inches or less.

2012–02 — Policy Regarding Use of Municipal Center Meeting Rooms

INTRODUCTION

The purpose of this policy is to establish rules and regulations governing the use of Municipal Center meeting space by the City and outside groups.  The City of St. Charles’ meeting rooms are available for meetings and functions associated with local government entities, groups dedicated to the promotion of the civic, cultural, educational and informational needs of the community, and local businesses provided that their activities do not interfere with the City’s governmental affairs.

2009–04 — Economic Incentive Policy

INTRODUCTION

The purpose of this document is to provide guidance for the City of St. Charles’ (the “City”) use
of financial assistance for development activities. These guidelines establish a framework by which financial incentive requests can be reviewed and evaluated in an objective fashion. For this evaluation, the City will use the criteria indicated in this policy.

2009–03 — Display of Streetlight Banners

 Policy Statement

This policy is intended to provide guidance to sponsoring entities (citizens and organizations) and City staff regarding the process to be followed for submitting and reviewing a request for the installation of banner(s) on City-owned streetlights ("Banner Facilities"). Streetlight banners help to identify, promote, complement, and aesthetically enhance streets throughout the community.
