The City of St. Charles is fortunate to have numerous community organizations that provide desirable and beneficial services. Some of those organizations receive tax dollars or public funds to aide in their efforts.
This policy is intended to provide guidance to City staff regarding the process to be followed for submitting items for the consideration of the City Council or Standing Committees of the City Council.

It is the intent of the City Council to maximize the amount of business that is awarded to vendors, businesses, and companies that are located in the City of St. Charles. This policy has been established for the purpose of providing guidance to City staff and vendors regarding how preference will be given.
The Code Enforcement Officer works with citizens to resolve issues that impact the quality of life in St. Charles, including violations of the Zoning Ordinance and Property Maintenance Code. Enforcement is accomplished by routine inspections of commercial and residential areas, as well as by responding to citizen complaints.
