Work is continuing on headwall modifications on the west side of Tyler Road. Work to install the new box culvert, resolve utility conflicts under Tyler Road and excavate east of Tyler Road will begin this week. Tyler Road will remain open for traffic, although some lane closures are to be expected
The proposed improvements include: The construction of a storm water conveyance channel, installation of an 8’ x 5’ concrete box culvert with headwalls across Tyler Road, sanitary sewer, storm sewer and water main work at the culvert crossing, pavement, curb and sidewalk removal and replacement, installation of guard rail, erosion control, placement of rip rap, and the restoration of disturbed areas.
